Tai
Chi Introductory Course
There are places available again on this popular course in
Bath.
These
Tai Chi classes are for older people and the gentle and relaxed
pace of the sessions could make them very suitable for some
people with ME. Exercises are geared for seated and standing
attendees. They take place at the United Reformed Church Hall
in Grove Street.
The sessions are held Thursdays from 10-11, 11.30-12.30 and
2-3, and Fridays from 10-11 and 11.30-12.30. The cost is £2
per session.
If you are over 55 and keen to improve your body awareness,
balance and general fitness then Tai Chi could be the answer
for you.
The session
leader is Paddy Nisbett. Paddy has over sixteen years of experience
of Tai Chi Chuan and has been teaching for over thirteen years.
He also leads a Sunday practice session in a local park.
As well as teaching Tai Chi, Paddy is a Life coach, Facilitator
and Community Development Worker.

Support is interested to hear if other ME sufferers have found
Tai Chi beneficial. Tai Chi hasn’t been clinically studied
for people with ME but it’s widely recommend for those
types of conditions. Please email Elsbeth to let her know
of any experiences you would like to share with the group.
